Rust Dyeing, Mark Making and Botanical Prints

Michele Vaughan will be teaching a one day workshop starting soon! Learn how to create one-of-a-kind botanical prints. Find out how to use old rusted objects to create beautiful shapes or edges on printing paper.

Create unique marks or textures that can not be duplicated in traditional drawing or painting. Spend the day with an instructor, who will demonstrate each technique, get you up and running in no time, encourage you to play, or will allow you to enjoy the process. At the end of the day, you will have a stack of creations, use them as collage elements, backgrounds for other art pieces or they may turn out to be individual works all on their own. No experience is necessary, simply be open to exploring a variety of new tools or an innovative approach.
