Landscape Features in Watercolor: Water

Paint beautiful water features within your landscapes as you unearth new watercolor techniques! Whether it be ponds, harbors, lakes, rivers, creeks, or ocean waves, learn how to create realistic-looking water features using wet-into-wet or with a step-by-step process in the textural layering. Each session will focus on a variety of weather conditions to portray calm reflections on still waters, expressive ripples on choppy waters, or ocean waves crashing onto the shore.

Ideal for anyone, who would like to learn from live demonstrations or practice within a studio setting.

Stacy Egan

Stacy Egan is a self-taught watercolorist, urban sketcher, and fine artist. After taking an early retirement from her 22 year career in physics and engineering, a lot of her free time is now dedicated to practicing pen & ink with watercolor in the urban sketecher style. She purchased her first sketchbook in 2011 and has been sketching ever since. She loves to draw and paint places and things on travel, whether it be the majesty of the Grand Canyon, the humble flora and fauna of my homelands in the Sonoran Desert, or instruments of music. She believes that anyone can develop these skills.
