Exploring Textures in Watercolor
1) Pencil and/or pen
2) Mixed media or watercolor paper, either in the form of a sketchbook or loose sheets.

- Winsor Newton Cotman Pocket Box (best student-grade paints available,
- nice compact size for travel, inexpensive, a good palette of colors)
- One or more watercolor brushes, round size 8, 10, or 12 range
- Small water sprayer
- 1-2 plastic cups for water
- Paper towels
6) Other
- Old toothbrush and/or bristle brush (stencil or oil painters)
- Small sprayer with isopropyl alcohol
- Sponge pieces (natural and/or man-made)
- Facial tissue
- Straw
- Rubber stamps (optional)
- Piece of cotton lace and/or nylon mesh (optional)
