2021 Fall Session Updates

New Weekly Classes, Now Open for Enrollment

Use the link below to register or enroll in any class or workshop face to face within a group setting! Adults, ages 16 and up (or accompanied by a guardian) at any level from beginner to advanced are welcome to register.

Rust Dyeing, Mark Making and Botanical Prints

Michele Vaughan will be teaching a one day workshop starting soon! Learn how to create one-of-a-kind botanical prints. Find out how to use old rusted objects to create beautiful shapes or edges on printing paper.


Create unique marks or textures that can not be duplicated in traditional drawing or painting. Spend the day with an instructor, who will demonstrate each technique, get you up and running in no time, encourage you to play, or will allow you to enjoy the process. At the end of the day, you will have a stack of creations, use them as collage elements, backgrounds for other art pieces or they may turn out to be individual works all on their own. No experience is necessary, simply be open to exploring a variety of new tools or an innovative approach.

Michele Vaughan is a mixed media artist that works with paper or cloth. A lot of her free time is dedicated to practicing "Art Journaling," a technique that is all about self-expression. Michele loves to teach absolute beginners or those who do not have any previous art training or background in art. She feels that art is for everyone and everyone IS creative, so she makes it her priority to create an encouraging community environment where students can learn from each other and feel empowered.
