She has years of experience teaching adults to draw or paint in Tucson at Pima Community Collage (2003 - 2014) and Southwest Visual Univsity of Visual Arts (SUVA) (2014 - 2020). Lisa Larrabee

Lisa Larrabee is most recognized for her unique figurative paintings that stylistically blur the boundaries between the figure and their environment. Her paintings visually convey the intangible connection between people, nature and the subconscious. Lisa creates artwork that allows us to slow down and contemplate our relationship to others and to the world around us.

Lisa builds an expressive and textured surface using oil and cold wax medium with improvised tools, rollers and pallet knives before refining her image with traditional oil painting methods.

The effect feels both timeless and contemporary. Specific details come into focus while others are left to be completed in the mind of the viewer. As you can see below, the result is ethereal poetry.

Stacy Egan

Stacy Egan is a self-taught watercolorist, urban sketcher, and fine artist. After taking an early retirement from her 22 year career in physics and engineering, a lot of her free time is now dedicated to practicing pen & ink with watercolor in the urban sketecher style. She purchased her first sketchbook in 2011 and has been sketching ever since. She loves to draw and paint places and things on travel, whether it be the majesty of the Grand Canyon, the humble flora and fauna of my homelands in the Sonoran Desert, or instruments of music. She believes that anyone can develop these skills.
